beautiful building facades. Building facades along with
landscaping make up the key elements of "curb appeal."
The house above looks so gorgeous! Although it would be tough
to maintain a white facade for a building - which I can see why
white can be seen as a color of the affluent by some.

details of using stones for the outside walls - it gives the building
an older feel to the building. Simply gorgeous. I adore the

I would have not thought to paint the entire face of a
building in a monochromatic color scheme, but it looks
quite good here.

Style of Architecture
Need ideas what color you should paint the
outside of your home? It's hard enough having
to choose interior colors. Exterior colors can be
just as tough and it is especially important to be
able to match the color you choose with the style
in which your house was built in.
I usually try to always state the sources of my images,
I'm afraid I don't know where some of my images came
from above - probably from other fantastic sites or blogs.
I apologize for this. Hope everyone had a great weekend
and a great week to come.

Beautiful facades. It's where architects show their best stuff. The more aged and lived-in they look the better.
I love that in the first picture there is a person in every window waving at the camera. That white house will look better as it "dirties up" a bit.
I love all the houses you posted!! Hard to believe the fourth one down is a modern home!! The "humble cottage" is so charming, and the setting is beautiful :-)

The first house is beautiful - looks like a giant dollshouse.
Hope you're better - have a great week x
Swoon worthy post, especially the first house!
I, too, zero in on architectural details. A great post!
I agree with Terry above. My favorite houses are red brick with white paint peeling off--the look gives a house such an elegantly run-down charm.
I'm always in love with your pics. Thanks for posting.
They are beautiful and I love those horshoe stairs. They were made for modesty. A man would go up one and a woman the other, that way he did not get to see up her ankles.

What is the meaning of happiness?
Is happiness is in the money?
Is happiness good health and a healthy body?
Is happiness having sex with love?
Happiness is achieved by becoming the director or minister or famous?
